TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Complications with drainage work has forced the closure of a Tupelo intersection.
City officials say South Gloster and Shumacola Road intersection is expected to be closed to all traffic through noon on Thursday.
Drivers will need to find an alternate route and avoid the intersection until it reopens.
The work is part of the widening of South Gloster Street as part of the Major Thoroughfare Program.
