TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — The Tupelo Convention and Visitors Bureau has put together an effort for the public to show support for the circus elephant who was shot early Tuesday at the BancorpSouth Arena.
An elephant-sized card will be on display in the Tupelo CVB lobby from Wednesday at 10 a.m. until Friday at 4 p.m. for people to sign.
After that, the card will be moved to the BancorpSouth Arena during the circus where more people can sign it.
During the circus, people can also drop off donations of dog and cat food, blankets, sheets and towels for the Tupelo-Lee Humane Society.
