TORRENCE, Ca. (WTVA) -- Toyota Motor Sales USA is reporting a 26 percent jump in sales.
The company reports it sold nearly 418 thousand more vehicles in 2012 than it did in 2011.
TMS says its Toyota Division sales were up 27.1 percent, the Lexus division was up 23 percent, and Scion sales were up 49.2 percent in 2012.
The Corolla lead the company's passenger car division in December with sales of nearly 25,000 cars, a 22 percent jump over December of 2011.
The company reported the figures on Thursday.
