HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. (WTVA) — The Marshall County Sheriff's Department has arrested three people from our area in connection with a beating and robbery Thursday evening at a racetrack in Byhalia.
The suspects are identifed as Jennifer Owens-Jones and Johnny Ryan Jones, a married couple from Benton County, and Keaundra Moore of New Albany.
Major Kelly McMillen said the three were arrested Thursday night at a mobile home in the Hickory Flat area.
McMillen said the victim was beaten with a stick and suffered severe head and facial injuries.
He added the robbers got away with money and prescription pills.
