RIPLEY, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Tippah County Hospital is open following a security issue earlier today.

Hospital Compliance Officer Debbie Wilmoth tells WTVA.com the hospital took the action after threats were made against some hospital employees.

She did not specify what type of threat was made.

She says the action included securing the grounds around the hospital to make sure the workers would be safe and could continue their normal duties.

Wilmoth says people may currently access the hospital through the main entrance, but all others will require a keypad access.
