KOSCIUSKO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Authorities in Kosciusko have charged two teenagers with the burglary of a Tupelo school bus during a football game Thursday night.
WTVA News Partner KosyOnline.com reports the investigation by local police and with the assistance of the Kosciusko School District lead to the charges against the 14-year-olds.
The Tupelo Middle School 8th Grade football team was in Kosciusko to play the game.
Items taken included cellphones, a laptop computer, mp3 players, and clothing.
Investigators with the Kosciusko Police Department tell WTVA.com they have recovered a majority of the items.
He says the students showed up to school the following day with some of the items in their possession.
Investigators says the two are charged with burglary and possession of stolen property.
The case will be handled in youth court.
