MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) -- A tanker truck fire has temporarily shut down a portion of Highway 78.

WMC-TV reports the section between Victoria and Byhalia around mile marker 13 is closed.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says the truck, which was carrying liquid hydrogen, had a blowout at 3 p.m. Saturday.

None of the substance spilled, but crews spent much of the day finding a way to transport the tanker safely onto another vehicle.

Traffic has been rerouted onto nearby Highway 178 until the accident can be cleared up.
