OKOLONA, Miss. (WTVA) — Customers of the Okolona Electric Department will lose power Thursday evening.
Officials say they plan to cut power at 7 p.m. for about 30 minutes to repair damage at a substation.
The damage was caused by a lightning strike during Wednesday night's storms.
The outage is expected to affect customers in Lee, Chickasaw, and Monroe County.
