OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- An Oxford man faces car burglary charges after officers tracked a cellphone taken from a vehicle.
Authorities say Jessie Hill, 28, was arrested Monday night for burglarizing a care on Johnson Street.
They say he took an iPhone and cash.
The phone was tracked to a store on South Lamar Street, where it was recovered.
Interviews conducted with people at the store lead to Hill's arrest.
He is being held in the Lafayette County jail on a probation violation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
