State takeover in Oktibbeha County starts Monday

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Mississippi Department of Education will move in Monday, to officially take over the Oktibbeha County school district.

The conservator and other staff members will be on hand Monday afternoon to meet with faculty and staff.

There will be a community meeting that parents can attend at 6:00 p.m.

WTVA will have a crew inside that meeting and we will have updates here on http://WTVA.com and Monday evening on WTVA newscasts.
