WASHINGTON (WTVA) -- Taylor Farms Retail has issued a voluntary recall of select Organic Baby Spinach products because of possible E-coli contamination.
The FDA announced the recall this week.
The recall included Taylor Farms Organic Baby Spinach sold in a 16 ounce tray in stores in Alabama and Mississippi.
The UPC number is 0-30223-04780-3 and has a best by date of 2/24/2013.
There have been no reported illnesses attributed to the recalled items.
Symptoms of E-coli include stomach cramps, diarrhea, and in some cases, fever and vomiting.
Customers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume the products and should dispose of them.
