TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Work to improve the city of Tupelo's drainage system will cause the closure of one city street.
Tupelo Public Works officials say Belk Street will be closed at Marshall Street to allow for the installation of a flume.
The roadway closed at noon on Wednesday and will remain closed until noon Thursday.
Residents will still have access to their homes, but will have to find an alternative route around the work site.
