TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Hundreds of angels are now on display at the Mall at Barnes Crossing, but organizers are hoping they won't be there for long.
The annual Salvation Army Angel Tree set up shop Monday in Tupelo.
Salvation Army officials say they have more than 900 angels up for adoption this year.
"Bottom line, there's a lot of children who will not have Christmas on Christmas morning if it was not for the Salvation Army and the community through the Salvation Army helping these children," said Major Sue Dorman with The Salvation Army.
The Angel Tree will be up until early December.
