SALTILLO, Miss. (WTVA) -- It's the doorway to opportunity.
Saltillo will soon be opening a community resource center.
North Mississippi Medical Center donated a building located near downtown on Mobile Street.
Alderwoman Jewel Webb says the R.B. Robinson Resource Center will have books and movies and a variety of resource materials.
Plans are to hold health and career fairs at the facility.
Webb says there will be arts and crafts classes held as well as tutoring sessions.
Donations are now being sought to fill up book and movie shelves and to meet other needs.
A community event will be held November 10 to help prepare the building for opening day.
