TUPELO, Miss. -(WTVA)-The New Orleans Saints mania appears to be traveling well beyond the bayou.
Merchandise is moving quickly.
Yolanda Chamberland goes in search of ....well, you guessed it...all things Saints...and Super Bowl.
"Why do you want to own that shirt? Who dat! Explains it all," Chamberland said.
She is one of dozens of customers that are keeping Renee White busy.
If it says Saints on the front, back or side, it's moving fast.
"It's been awesome. We've had an awesome weekend and last week too. I'm really excited to see what they next two weeks hold," Sportszone manager Renee White said.
White is pricing box after box of t-shirts to please football fans like Matt Hudson.
He has quite a collection but it does not include a Saints quarterback clock. We suspect he'll be back for it soon.
"Uh, maybe not for me but for my wife anyway," Hudson said.
There are others here in search of what could be described as bayou bullion.
"After watching the Saints so many years take a beating and be booed I've gotta come and get a shirt," customer Dale Smith said.
Those who already own the t-shirt like Johnna Phillips are proud to show it off and of course remind one and all what the saying "who dat" is all about.
