TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- The continuing work on the Major Thoroughfare Project in Tupelo will force the closure of one city street on Tuesday.
Public works officials say Shady Acres Road will be closed from 8 a.m. til 2 p.m.
Crews will be working to install a cross drain as part of the East Main Street widening project.
Drivers should find another route while work is underway.
