In a news release Wedneday morning, the company says the airbag control module in 2003 and 2004 model Corollas and Matrix could be wired with circuits that could short out, and in rare instances cause the airbag to inadvertently deploy.

The company says 2006 through 2012 models of the Lexus IS may have a windshield wiper arm nut that may not be properly tightened.
It could lead to the wipers becoming inoperable.
The recall affects 270,000 vehicles.
