OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- An Aberdeen woman is heading to prison after violating terms of her probation over a scheme to defraud Golden Triangle Crimestoppers.
Thursday, A federal judge ordered Shawanda Holliday, 25, to serve 10 months in prison and one year probation.
Holliday was among three people accused of making false reports to Crimestoppers and receiving payouts of nearly $18.000 from the organization between 2004 and 2008.
She was originally given three years probation after pleading guilty in 2009.
Her probation was revoked in September of 2011 and she was ordered to serve four months in prison and an additional three years probation.
