COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- Columbus police are continuing the search for two men wanted in connection with a shooting incident in the city Sunday morning.

Assistant Police Chief Joe Johnson says officers were called to a home on Florence Street around 10 a.m.

He says two men, identified at Leshun Harris, 22, and 25 year old Jamarquis Easley, both of Columbus, pulled up to the home and began firing.

Johnson says there were people in the yard and inside the home, but no one was injured.

He says Harris and Easley left the scene and have not been arrested.

Johnson says the shooting was the apparent result of an altercation that happened a couple of weeks ago.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Columbus Police Department.
