WATER VALLEY, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Batesville man remains in critical condition following a shooting in Water Valley New Year's Eve.
Police Chief Mike King tells WTVA.com Latonya Carr, 33, was shot multiple times inside his pickup truck Monday afternoon around 3 p.m.
The shooting happened in the 200 block of Fly Street.
King says Carr was airlifted to the Med in Memphis.
Authorities are not saying what caliber weapon was used in the shooting.
No arrests have been made and King would not speculate on a motive.
He says the case remains under investigation.
