TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Tupelo police have arrested a man that they say could be linked to multiple auto burglaries in the northwest part of the city.
In a news release on Thursday afternoon, police say Ledarius Bunchanan, 21, of Harrison Street, was arrested after being spotted by a witness inside a neighbor's car.
Authorities say the witness notified 911 and police arrested Bunchanan after a quick hunt in some nearby woods.
Police say they plan to link other cases to Bunchanan over the next few weeks.
The suspect is expected to be arraigned in court Friday morning.
