CORINTH, Miss. (AP) -- A block of old warehouse buildings is getting a makeover in a redevelopment plan by a partnership in Corinth.

The Daily Corinthan reports Trey Albright and Stuart Green recently acquired the buildings in the 100 block of Wick Street, along with several buildings in the area, with plans to renovate them for rent.

Albright and Green have collaborated on other downtown properties and had their eyes on Wick Street, with its declining buildings, for some time.

Albright says the area should be a prime location for restaurants or retail space.

The city removed the area from the Downtown Historic District a couple of years ago with hope of prompting some development.
