Oxford police investigate man struck by vehicle

OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Oxford Police say they are investigating a man being struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning.

Authorities say it happened around 3:30 a.m. on Highway 30 near the Oxford Elementary School.

Police describe the vehicle as red and that the make and model of vehicle is unknown.  However, officials say the vehicle may have a broken side mirror.

Oxford Police ask that if anyone has any information on the crime to call Crimestoppers at 1-662-234-TIPS (8477) or the Oxford Police Department at 662-232-2400.
