OKOLONA, Miss. (WTVA)--Okolona School leaders are back to the drawing board.

New Okolona superintendent Jerry Woods declined the position.

School Board vice president William Bailey said Woods tentatively accepted the position on Sunday after a community wide meeting and a board vote.

Leaders said Woods declined the offer Wednesday morning after talking with his family.

Three people were finalist for the position.

Board members will meet Monday with their second choice for the post.
