CHICKASAW COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) --Peer Helpers at Okolona High School are looking for some heroes.
In a partnership with the American Red Cross, the students agreed to raise at least $1,000 for the organization.
For any dollar amount, donors will receive an American Red Cross Hero Card with their name on it to be displayed in the hallway at the high school.
The students say the fundraiser is a way to give back and teach their peers about the importance of community service.
