BALDWYN, Miss. (WTVA) - Members of a local motorcycle club ventured into Baldwyn to help out with a charitable cause.

For the second year in a row, the Dixie Thunder Motorcycle Chapter met at Buschwackers Sports Bar and Grill.

Everything from live music to a raffle and a number of fundraising activities were held to raise money for charity.

The bikers say they enjoy doing what they can to help out a charitable endeavor such as Operation First Response.

"You know all these proceeds we do here and also on our thunder runs -- the big one is coming up Labor Day weekend -- all these proceeds go to Operation First Response," Dixie Thunder Run president Tony Shackleford  said. "They cover emergency relief from all five branches of the military."

The bikers will depart from the BancorpSouth Arena on Aug. 31 and travel to Chunky River Harley Davidson in Meridian for the next Dixie Thunder Run.
