BAGRAM, Afghanistan (WTVA) -- The Department of Defense announced this morning the death of a soldier from Greenwood.
Pfc. Patricia L. Horne died Friday while serving in Afghanistan.
The DOD did not say how the 20-year-old died.
She was assigned to the 96th Aviation Support Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
