GRENADA, Miss. (WTVA) -- Sealed Air Corporation is expanding its Grenada operations.
The company, which manufactures protective packaging for the food, medical, and shipping industries, announced it would make a $3 million dollar investment in the project.
Sealed Air officials say the increase is due to new market opportunities and the downsizing of plants in the northeast.
They expect the change to create 10 new jobs.
It is the second expansion at the Grenada facility this year.
The Mississippi Development Authority worked with company and local officials through the Momentum Mississippi Incentive Program to assistant with the expansion project.
