TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- An Itawamba County man will spend three years in prison for fondling a vulnerable person.

Attorney General Jim Hood says Raymond Brown, 64, was sentenced during a court hearing Wednesday in Tupelo.

Brown is accused of having inappropriate physical contact with a blind and mentally challenged woman with whom he was acquainted.

In court, Brown admitted he checked the woman out of a residential care facility, took her home and attempted to have sex with her.

Brown will report to the Itawamba County Sheriff on June 28 to begin serving his sentence.
