OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Lee County man has pleaded guilty to a federal charges involving a sexual relationship involving a minor.
William Bates, 40, of Barnes Crossing Road entered the guilty plea in U. S. District Court in Oxford Monday.
The indictment says the victim is 14 years-old.
Bates was arrested by Lee County deputies on April 12th as the result of an investigation started after the teenager's parents notified authorities.
Bates will be sentenced at a later date.
