OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Saltillo man has been indicted by a federal grand jury following an investigation into child pornography.
James Shipe, 40, was arrested in May by Lee County sheriff's investigators.
At the time of his arrest, Sheriff Jim Johnson said Shipe was a registered sex offender.
The federal indictment says Shipe was in possession of child pornography or accessed materials containing child pornography.
A federal judge ordered him to remain in jail until a detention hearing is held on Friday.
