BALDWYN, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Lee County man is being held without bond after a grand jury indicted him for an attack on a woman last September.

Christopher Mink, 43, of Highway 370 in the Pratts community was arraigned in Lee County Circuit Court Thursday morning.

Mink is charged with aggravated assault and kidnapping.

Authorities say Mink and Cherie Clark, 40, lured an unidentified 27-year-old woman to their residence on September 14.

Authorities say the woman was choked, beaten, and tied up, then carried to a rural location and set on fire.

The woman survived the attack and managed to walk to a home and get help.

The victim is currently living in South Mississippi.

Mink is being held in the Lee County Adult Detention Center.
