COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- A man from Columbus is behind bars, charged with armed robbery.
Lowndes County detectives say officers responded to King's Grocery on MLK Drive on Tuesday, September 2 to a report of an attempted armed robbery.
Benjamin Shelby Wells, 21, was arrested Wednesday, October 3 and is being held on a $25,000 bond.
He is expected in court December 6.
