OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Lee County man faces a federal indictment for transportation of stolen property.
Sean Baldwyn, 30, of Belden was indicted by a federal grand jury in March.
Authorities say he knowingly transported over $5,000 in jewelry and jewelry boxes from Afghanistan to a home in Mooreville.
The indictment says he knew the items were stolen.
Baldwyn made an initial appearance before a federal magistrate Wednesday to hear the charges.
He returns to court Friday for an arraignment hearing.
Baldwyn is free on a $5,000 bond.
