BENTON COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) — A man is dead after his motorcycle struck a car at an intersection in Benton County.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol says 68-year-old Richard Miller of Conway, Arkansas, died at the scene of Monday's accident from the injuries he suffered.
Trooper Ray Hall says it was before 5:15 p.m. when a car pulled from Highway 7 into the path of Miller's motorcycle, which was heading west on Highway 72.
21-year-old Joseph Cocke of Holly Springs, who was driving the car, was not hurt in the accident.
