FULTON, Miss. (WTVA) -- One person is dead following a traffic accident Monday morning in Itawamba County.
A spokesperson with the Mississippi Highway Patrol says the accident happened east of Fulton on Highway 78 around 10 a.m.
The man was traveling west on the highway when the car left the highway and struck several trees.
Authorities have not released the name of the man.
The accident remains under investigation.
