MANTACHIE, Miss. (WTVA) — A man has died at the Toyota Boshoku plant in Itawamba County.

Itawamba County Deputy Coroner Sheila Summerford said 53-year-old James Fielder of Athens, Alabama, died from internal injuries after an 18-wheeler pinned him against a dock before 12 p.m. Tuesday.

Fielder is described by Toyota Boshoku as a vendor.  The deputy coroner said the man was president of a company named CPI.

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been notified, which is common practice when there is a workplace death.

Toyota Boshuku is a supplier for the Toyota plant near Blue Springs.
