NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WTVA) — A man was taken to the hospital Friday after the truck he was driving ran off a highway and struck a tree in Itawamba County.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol said 55-year-old Ricky D. Stanley of Mooreville was heading north on Highway 363 near River Road when the accident happened around 12:30 p.m.
Trooper Ray Hall said Stanley suffered life-threatening injuries.
Stanley was flown to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo where he is listed in critical condition.
