ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Belden man is facing charges after his arrest at a driver's license checkpoint over the weekend.
Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell tells WTVA.com Ellis Sims was arrested Sunday night.
He says deputies stopped Sims at the checkpoint and discovered a large amount of what is believed to be marijuana inside his vehicle.
Sims has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.
