Man charged with insurance fraud

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) -- An Aberdeen man has been arrested on charges of insurance and wire fraud.

On Tuesday, Attorney General Jim Hood announced the arrest of Jentry Deshea Townes, 30, by investigators with the AG's Insurance Integrity Enforcement Unit.

Townes was indicted on one county of insurance fraud and one count of wire fraud for filing a false claim with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.

Aberdeen police assisted with the arrest.
