COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Columbus man is facing charges after he allegedly stabbed a man during a scuffle.
Columbus police say they were called to a home on Robinwood Circle about a baby being stabbed in the chest.
When they arrived, they found a woman in the yard screaming and a man walked out of the house bleeding from the left side of his neck.
The man, Andrew Baker, was treated at a local hospital for a non life-threatening injury.
They say Baker and Davon Lavell Salter, 44, apparently got into an altercation because Salter refused to leave the home.
The two men were apparently outside the home when Salter cut Baker on the neck.
Salter is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
