WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) -- The investigation into a shooting incident in West Point last Thursday night has lead to an arrest.
Police Chief Tim Brinkley says the investigation began following an incident where someone fired into a moving car on Bugg Street around 11:30 p.m.
He says several hours later, a man showed up at the hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.
Brinkley says the man refused to give the identity of the shooter.
Another person identified the man as Richard Hall of Norris Court in West Point.
Hall was arrested Tuesday morning and is facing charges of aggravated assault in the incident.
Brinkley says the investigation continues.
