TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Lee County authorities have charged a man with leaving the scene of a deadly accident in Palmetto community Saturday night.
Sheriff Jim Johnson says Jeffrey S. Culver, 49, is charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving a death.
Richard Darby, 50, who lived in the Palmetto area.
Darby's body was found on Graham Drive Saturday evening near the Tupelo city limits.
Johnson says more details will be released following a court appearance by Culver Monday afternoon.
