KOSCIUSKO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Attala County authorities have charged a man in the armed robbery of a store Thursday morning.
WTVA News Partner Kosyonline.com says DeAngelo Taylor, 22, surrendered to authorities hours after the holdup of the Crossroads Grocery around 9 a.m.
Sheriff Tim Nail says a man wearing a mask entered the store with a handgun and demanded the cash.
He left the scene with an undetermined amount of money, but authorities were able to identify the vehicle he was in.
That car was later found at a residence in Attala County, and authorities began the search for Taylor after searching the home.
He is charged with armed robbery and is currently being held in the Attala County jail.
