PELHAM, Ala. (WTVA) -- An Alabama federal grand jury today indicted a Prentiss County man for the January robbery of a Pelham bank.

The indictment filed in U.S. District Court charges David Alexander Kulinski, 53, of Marietta, with one count of bank robbery.

According to the indictment, Kulinski walked into Cadence Bank on Huntley Parkway in Pelham on Jan. 14, handed a teller a note demanding money and threatened the teller with a knife.

The teller complied with the demand and handed Kulinski an undisclosed amount of money.

Kulinski ran from the bank and was apprehended by Pelham Police shortly after the robbery, according to the
indictment.

The FBI and Pelham Police investigated the case.
