COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) -- Lowndes County Sheriff's Department executed multiple arrest warrants on a Columbus man on Thursday.
Local authorities said 30-year-old Jonathan Deshae Johnson, who had avoided capture for over a year, had an "undisclosed amount of cocaine," over $2,000 in cash and a firearm in his home at the time of the arrest.
He was booked with outstanding warrants for sale of cocaine, possession of and intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Johnson is currently being held at the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center.
His court date is scheduled for February 10, 2014.
