TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — Local celebrities turned out Monday night to don their aprons and wait tables for a good cause.

Serving Up a Cure was held at the Fairpark Grill in Tupelo.

The tips received by the waiters and waitresses will benefit the Mississippi affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which fights breast cancer.

WTVA anchor Allie Ware and Tupelo Mayor Jason Shelton were among the celebrities participating.
