BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Prentiss County jury will continue deliberations Friday morning in the trial of a woman charged in the shooting death of her mother.
Rebecca Lynn Jones of Lexington, Alabama is charged with murder in the shooting death of Jane Jones, 66, at a home on Highway 4 near Booneville in May of 2010.
Jones' attorney claims she never intended to shoot the woman.
A trial last October ended in a mistrial after Jones was hospitalized for an unspecified medical condition and couldn't show up for court after testimony had begun.
