TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Authorities have released the name of a female inmate who died Sunday night in the Lee County Jail.
Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green said Phyllis Raper, 57, of Guntown, who authorities say was being held on shoplifting charges from Tupelo.
Green said they're still waiting on lab results to come back before they can determine the cause of death.
Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson said no signs of trauma were found on the body.
Johnson added Raper was taking several prescription medications, but she refused to take them Sunday night while behind bars.
