TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- New and expectant parents have the opportunity to learn about childcare and browse the local selection of baby items at the North Mississippi Medical Center's Baby Fair on Saturday.

The free event will be held at the NMMC Women’s Hospital from 9 a.m. to noon.

Expectant parents can tour the labor and delivery area, and infant and toddler CPR classes, first aid sessions and "Caring for Your Newborn" classes will be offered every hour.

Officials will be on hand to discuss lactation, breastfeeding and a variety of classes offered by the Wonderful Beginnings program.

Local merchants will also have selections of baby clothes, toys, gifts and more for visitors to browse, and there will be drawings for prizes.
